Wood Blinds Installation Guide

This is just a brief outline of the installation instructions so that you can get a feel of just how simple and straightforward the fitting procedure is, comprehensive printed instructions are provided with every order.

Wooden Venetian Blinds:

The brackets provided are fitted at each end of the headrail. Larger blinds will be provided with intermediate brackets, when fitting intermediate brackets ensure they will not foul your blinds cords when in position. Intermediate brackets should be fitted centrally or evenly spaced.

Once the brackets are fitted open the brackets and insert the blind headrail. Close the brackets and lock into position by squeezing the lower edge of the brackets and lock into position so that the slot in the moving part locates the lip.

Roman Blinds:

The brackets provided should be fitted approximately 100mm [4"] in from the end of the headrail. On larger blinds extra brackets are provided which should be fitted centrally or evenly spaced. Ensure that all brackets will not snag the cords of the blind when in position.

The brackets may be top or face fixed. If you are top fixing the blind ensure the two large screwdriver holes are at the top.

To hang the blind locate the wooden headrail into the brackets. The headrail should be pushed back until the front of the brackets butt up to the back of the material.

Secure the headrail with the screws provided by using the small hole between the larger ones on either side of the bracket.
